Rice prices were lower on the grain market on Tuesday on falling demand, dealers said. On the seed side, Irri-white lost Rs 25 to Rs 900-925 in process of low business, they said. Other types maintained overnight levels, they added.

On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag shed Rs 5 to Rs 302-303 due to good supply position, they said. Til lower type low type shed Rs 100 to Rs 1300 and better type was down by Rs 50 at Rs 1525, dealers said.

Other sectors stayed put.
